Mat Forastiere joined PLC in 2018 as Regional Vice President and was appointed Senior Vice President of Operations and Administration in January of 2021. He is a fourth-generation funeral director and embalmer with over 25 years of professional experience. Mat began his career at Forastiere Family Funeral Homes in Springfield, MA and prior to joining PLC, Mat held various other leadership positions for a U.S. publicly traded deathcare company. Mat currently serves as Dean of the Todd Van Beck College of Funeral Home Management at the ICCFA University and is the chair of the ICCFA Disaster Management Committee.
